 'Private Lessons'

I like to start the first private lesson with a watercolour ‘animal’ for children and a watercolour painting of ‘poppies’ for adults. Within this lesson we explore colours, the use of different brushes, the thought process of how to approach this particular artwork and overall watercolour techniques. 

The following lessons depend on the individual progress but we usually continue with the watercolour painting for a few sessions.

 

Tailored lessons are also available for clients who wish to learn to draw certain objects, people or concentrate on learning to paint in oils or additional different mediums. In these cases I tailor the lessons in that direction. Tailored lessons still includes basic tuition but are dictated by the clients choices.

Extra cost applies to cover research and tailored preparation.

 

All lessons include space preparation and clean up.  I believe this allows my clients to dedicated all their time to the creative learning process.

 

Number of lessons and day and times are flexible.  Please be aware that weekends and after school hours are popular so I recommend booking these times as early as possible to avoid disappointment. 

 

Cost of private lessons

 

Weekdays (per Hour)

Children  $ 50 + $ 10 materials, double lesson $ 110 special

Adults  (19+) $ 60 + 10 materials, double lesson $ 120 special

 

Alternate Option - 

1 hour for 2 people $ 45 per person ( children or  adults)

1.5 hours for  2 people $ 67.50 per person ($ 135 total) ( children or  adults)

2 hours for 2 people  $ 90 each ($ 180  in total)

Half day art class : 3 hours for 3 - 5 people $ 90 each.

 

Weekend (per hour)

Children per hour $ 60 + 10 materials

Adult per hour $ 70 +10 materials

Alternate Option – 

Half day art class - 3 hours for 3 - 5 people $ 100 each.
